Julio founded Rio Capital to deliver exceptional returns to investors through institutional quality relative value investing in sub-institutional sized CRE assets.
Julio was previously the CIO of Bridge33 Capital. While at Bridge33, he and his team closed ~$1B and 8M+ square feet of retail, office and mixed-use assets throughout the US across multiple funds and joint ventures.
He was also a Portfolio Manager and SVP at PIMCO where he was responsible for portfolio management of the Tac Opps, PCRED, and BRAVO funds. Areas of investment focus included high yield CMBS / CMBX, b-pieces, CRE loans (senior / mezz) and CRE financing.
He was also formerly a CRE loan trader at Morgan Stanley and began his career in structured products at Lehman Brothers.
