Julio founded Rio Capital to deliver exceptional returns to investors through institutional quality relative value investing in sub-institutional sized CRE assets.
Julio was previously the CIO of Bridge33 Capital. While at Bridge33, he and his team closed ~$1B and 8M+ square feet of retail, office and mixed-use assets throughout the US across multiple funds and joint ventures.
He was also a Portfolio Manager and SVP at PIMCO where he was responsible for portfolio management of the Tac Opps, PCRED, and BRAVO funds. Areas of investment focus included high yield CMBS / CMBX, b-pieces, CRE loans (senior / mezz) and CRE financing.
He was also formerly a CRE loan trader at Morgan Stanley and began his career in structured products at Lehman Brothers.
Bryson is an experienced real estate operator and investment manager. Prior to joining Rio Capital, Bryson was a co-founder at Island View Capital Partners, a Utah based investment management and licensed construction management firm.
